🔨 Compiling (Developers)

Overview​

Oraxen is open-source, meaning you can compile it yourself at no cost. We understand that not everyone is able to spend $20 on a Minecraft plugin, especially in difficult economic circumstances or in countries where income levels differ significantly. For that reason, we want Oraxen to remain accessible to everyone. We also want to make it easy for anyone to contribute, and for servers to modify Oraxen to better suit their specific needs.

Usage​

important

Git is required to clone the Oraxen source code.

Clone Oraxen’s source code​

git clone https://github.com/miziusLabs/OraxenPlugin
cd OraxenPlugin

Compile the project​

macOS / Linux
./gradlew build
Powershell
./gradlew build
Windows Command Prompt
gradlew build

Limitations & Notes​

The compiled edition of Oraxen includes a few limitations.

Compiled​

  • 🟢 × Functionality / features.
  • 🟠 × Development builds.
  • 🟠 × Oraxen studio.
  • 🔴 × Tickets / Advanced support.
  • 🔴 × Default items / assets (only required assets).
warning
  • To remove the default items (which is a required step if you don't want to have a broken pack when using a compiled edition), run /oraxen remove-defaults.
