Usageâ
warning
- You have to fork the repository first and then make your changes to your fork. Then you can make a pull request from your fork against master / main.
Pick What You Want to Changeâ
- Choose what to fix or implement. This can e.g. be an issue or a new feature.
Create a Branchâ
Use a short, descriptive branch name.
fix/...for bug fixesfeat/...for new featuresdocs/...for documentation-only changes
Implement the Changeâ
Keep PRs focused - one problem, one solution.
- Follow existing patterns and naming.
- Avoid drive-by formatting changes in unrelated files.
- Prefer adding tests when behavior changes.
Run the Usual Checksâ
Run the project's build/test tasks locally and verify your changes e.g. ingame.
Open a Pull Requestâ
In the PR description, include:
- What you changed and why
- How to test it
- Any relevant issue links (
Fixes #123)
info
When implementing a new feature, also make sure to update the documentation accordingly.
Find the Right Pageâ
The docs live in the miziusLabs/OraxenDocs repository. Pages are MDX files under docs/.
Match Existing Styleâ
- Prefer the same layout components used across developer pages (
Callout,Steps,Tabs). - Keep examples minimal and copy/paste friendly.
- Use internal links for docs pages (for example
./contributing).
Preview Your Changesâ
Use the docs repository instructions to run the site locally and confirm the page renders as expected.
Open a Pull Requestâ
Explain the change and include screenshots if it affects layout.
Notesâ
info
- Keep changes small and reviewable - large changes are easier to merge when split into steps.
- If you add a new integration entry/page, link it from the appropriate index page.
